If you are experiencing a mental health emergency or believe you are at immediate risk of harming yourself or someone else, please call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department.

If you are experiencing a mental health crisis and need immediate support, the following resources are available:

988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline

  • Call or text 988

  • Available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week

  • Free, confidential support for anyone experiencing emotional distress, suicidal thoughts, mental health concerns, or substance use crises.

Oregon YouthLine
(Youth & Young Adults)

  • Call: 1-877-968-8491

  • Text: "teen2teen" to 839863

  • Peer support for youth and young adults, with trained teen volunteers available daily and adult counselors available when peers are unavailable.

Veterans Crisis Line

  • Call 988, then press 1

  • Text 838255

  • Online chat is also available through the Veterans Crisis Line.

County Mobile Crisis Services

  • Every Oregon county has access to a local crisis response team that can provide telephone support and, when appropriate, in-person crisis intervention.

  • Call 988 or your local county crisis line to access services.
